DIXBORO GENERAL STORE BRANDING PROJECT |
As a project for college, I was asked to bring Dixboro General Store’s logo and brand up to date. I had to recreate their logo, provide a branding guidelines booklet, an animated graphic, and other various mockups for the company.
This project was composed from sketches, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
CREATING AN IMPACTFUL LOGO |
I created this specific logo to bring forth a more modern appeal to the company. The implementation of the establishment date is once again another throwback to the historical importance of the store.

PRODUCT & PACKAGING DESIGN | WRAPPING PAPER
As an additional asset to the brand’s development, I wanted to showcase the multipurpose capabilities of both their main logo and the icon variant in the same space. It only seemed fitting with the vintage style of the store to include some kraft-brown recycled wrapping paper.
PRODUCT & PACKAGING DESIGN | HAND-CRAFTED CANDLES
Upon doing some investigations of the store’s products online, I found that one of the owners enjoys making candles from scratch and selling them at the store. To make sure their customers know where to get more from, it only felt right to include the Dixboro icon front-and-center on their candle labels.

WEB DESIGN | SITE LAYOUT
One portion of the project required us to create an online presence that fit the brand’s color scheme and overall vibe. We were required to make a website landing page that encompassed the most important details about the company.
Dixboro General Store is a historical landmark to many. It felt right to display the shop as the hero image alongside their famous truck.
The website was designed with a modern grid in mind. It’s meant to engage the users through vibrant imagery and simple typography.
PRINT DESIGN | BUSINESS CARDS
This is a general mockup for owner Steve Dani. This was created using Adobe InDesign, while the actual mockup pictured here was made using Photoshop.
