RACERX BRANDING PROJECT |
A project completed in February 2023 during the duration of my winter semester at Southern New Hampshure University. RacerX is a theoretical gaming company focused on providing modern, accessible games for people of all ages and abilities. The goal of the brand style guide development was to further engage with the more competitive side of the gaming community in which they reside in.
The brand style guide was formatted entirely in Adobe InDesign. The internal components were made using collaborative efforts between Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

CREATING AN IMPACTFUL LOGO |
For this project, I was asked to create both a wordmark and a simple brandmark to be used for the company. As a large portion of the gaming community has a strong preference for tech-like saturated hues and bright colors, alongside modern sans-serif typography, I chose to collaborate the two and implement a sense of movement, repetition and manipulated negative space to create the X.
BRANDING IN USE | ESPORTS ROOM
To emphasize on RacerX’s newfound target audience, I created a mockup of the logo being used in an eSports room, shrouded by similarly colored neon lights to fit the brand’s revised color palette.
The mockup was made using Adobe Photoshop.

BRANDING IN USE | GAMING MONITOR AD
Much like Razor or HyperX, a lot of gaming-related companies get involved in creating technology aimed directly at gamers. It only felt accurate to create an advertisement for a mock item by RacerX, setting them one step above the rest with a high-performing montior.

BRANDING IN USE | GENERAL SUBWAY AD
To encourage gamers to unite in a communal space, I wanted to make an advertisement that showed friends enjoying a game cooperatively and had a diverse audience within the photography.
