SPOONKID RUST BRANDING PROJECT |
Spoonkid, a well-known Rust Content Creator, reached out through an equal acquantaince when it came time to create his own rust server community. He needed everything done, from the logo, to a set color palette, set type treatments, and even in-game and social media advertisements. This project was one of my very first freelance commissioned branding guides and took just under 3 weeks to complete. Everything you see here was made using a variety of Adobe Suite Programs including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and more. CREATING AN IMPACTFUL LOGO |
Spoonkid was really looking to drive his branding of the spoon home with his logo. We went through 3 rounds of revisions before falling upon the Spoon-in-a-Circle and Spoon-for-the-Eye variants as the head styles to use in his brand.
VIP STORE ICONS | 2023
To help fund his dreams, Spoonkid needed some unique VIP icons to use in his online store. There are several variations of this icon including the different server types, if they’re on sale, and for different paid perks on the server(s).
UNIQUE ICONS & EMOTES | DISCORD COMMUNITY
Discord is a widely used community platform where people can join servers and talk about all the things they enjoy. Spoonkid Rust sat up their discord server and needed a more personalized take on the standard emoticons used in chat. So the spoons took over, and people took to the chat rooms for fun.
Spoonkid and his staff also utilize these emotes for their polls, announcements, and other purposes.
